  1. This archive includes all the files necessary to recreate a working copy
  2. of Backdrop, a utility which puts a pattern in the area behind the CLI
  3. window. See Backdrop.doc for more information.

  5. Also included is a System-Configuration file which you can copy into the
  6. DEVS directory of your system disk. It makes your Amiga boot up with an
  7. interlaced overscan workbench, giving you an resolution of around 704x562
  8. (on a PAL screen). When used with Backdrop, this can make for a very nice
  9. display which looks like those seen on expensive workstations (and Macs).
  10. For best effect, turn the contrast and brightness down to prevent flicker
  11. (unless you are fortunate enough to have a Flicker Fixer). It's not really
  12. that usable on a normal monitor, but it looks impressive.
